Wellness Inspired School Environment Grant

The BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation has awarded Sandhills
Primary/Elementary School a Wellness Inspired School Environment (WISE) Grant for the
project submitted by Victoria Garrick, with the support of Principal Patricia Carter. This
project will support the district wellness policy by expanding the gardening program, to
ensure that all students have the opportunity to cultivate and grow school gardens to
enhance learning and experience. We are excited about this new opportunity for SPES!
