School Closed October 11, 2018

Lexington School District Four, along with other school district and county officials, has been monitoring the path of Hurricane Michael. This storm is expected to produce high winds in our area which may impact the safe operation of vehicles, including school buses. The SC Department of Education’s Office of Transportation provides guidance stating that bus operations should be limited when sustained winds are above 30 MPH or wind gusts are greater than 40 MPH.

Due to the current information we have from Lexington County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service, Lexington School District Four has made the decision to close Thursday, October 11, 2018.

All school activities including athletics, after-school, and other extracurricular activities are cancelled.

Stay tuned to local media outlets, the district's website, and social media for further updates as needed.
